CARD ACCEPTANCE:
iPayment, Inc. has the ability to process all major Credit Cards. We provide complete authorization and electronic capture for the following:

FRONT END APPLICATIONS:
iPayment Inc. offers end-to-end solutions. That includes providing point-of-sale equipment, software, and training. We support a full range of terminals and payment systems, including:
  • Verifone, Dassault, and Hypercom Terminals, Printers, and ATM Pin Pads
  • Most Internet Payment Gateways
  • PC-Based Software, Solutions
COMMUNICATION NETWORK:
Depending on the application needed, iPayment, Inc. offers various options to connect to our processing platforms. Typically, merchants use standard Dial-Up communication for Authorization and Capture transactions.

FUNDING:
iPayment, Inc. routes your deposits to the bank account of your choice within 48-72 hours of settlement. In some cases, the deposit window may require an earlier transmission for funding purposes.

CHARGEBACKS:
iPayment, Inc. is dedicated to providing the best possible service to our merchants. Chargeback and retrieval requests prove to be one of the more challenging aspects of accepting credit card transactions. Chargebacks occur when a credit card purchase is disputed by the cardholder and the transaction amount is subsequently charged to the merchant. If a charge back occurs, iPayment, Inc. will send you a letter with all corresponding documentation. The Merchant Accounting Detail report lists chargebacks to your account on a daily basis. You will then need to submit a signed sales draft or proof of delivery. We do supply you with information on how you can protect yourself from charge backs.

MAIL ORDER:
If you're in the mail or phone order business, iPayment, Inc. recognizes the need to protect the information your customers provide you. Whether you're just getting started, or already a multinational catalog operation, you'll find iPayment, Inc. understands all the issues, and has created a suite of financial tools to address your business needs. We recommend a software package to process orders online and integrate with your order-entry system. We also provide support services such as Address Verification Services (AVS), which can help you reduce the risks associated with "card not present" transactions. Or, if you outsource order entry, inventory, or shipping, our relationships with local fulfillment centers will make setting up your merchant account quick and easy.

E-COMMERCE:

The backbone of our payment processing services is the quality of our Customer Support area. Quick, reliable response and accountability is an important aspect of meeting your service expectations. iPayment, Inc. provides a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week technical support to keep you processing with uninterrupted service.

Additionally, our merchant services department, who is responsible for your overall satisfaction call to introduce themselves to your key staff personnel to discuss all facets of your account. They are empowered to take the necessary steps to resolve any service issues that arise. Periodically, they will proactively make contact with you to evaluate our performance.

INTERCHANGE:
Visa and Mastercard associations have very specific criteria they apply to all transactions submitted by merchants. These standards have been established to provide merchants the flexibility needed to conduct business while striving to reduce fraudulent activity. The different Interchange levels generally are indicative of the risk associated with the type of transaction. For instance, a card swiped with cardholder present is the lowest possible risk factor and reflected by the lowest Interchange rate. Understanding Interchange and compliance is important in order to keep your processing costs as low as possible.
